Wow. This is the second time I'm writing about Jay (http://jaypanti.blogspot.com/). I just reread his book yesterday. I still can't help but laugh at the jokes he collected! This comes from his book, but I translated it and I don't think it's that effective when translated.
Thief: Hold your hands up! Give me your money!
Girl: RAPE! RAPE! RAPE!
Thief: Why are you shouting"RAPE?!" I just want your money!
Girl: Nothing. I'm just suggesting, you know.
Dude, you've been away for so long. Come back!
Bob Ong has a new book too. It's called MacArthur. It's about drug addiction. There are some parts in the book that are really funny. I mean, with 4 "abnormalites" high on shabu, expect the unexpected. I was able to relate to one joke. "Talsik mo, lumalaway!" Fantastic wordplay, I must say. I have trouble with words sometimes. I interchange them without me noticing, and when I do notice, it's too late.
Fresh of breath air.

WTF. Fantastic? Nooooooo. You think I'm on drugs? I even forget to take my supplements!
There are also times I laughed but felt guilty afterwards. Especially the last part when.... Oh I won't spoil it for you! Anyways sometimes people try to find funny things in sad events to ease the pain/misery/loneliness/shit/whateveryougotthere. On second thought... I will just laugh out loud. I hope so.

Power trippers should be the ones drugged.
