Yesterday there was a dance marathon at the gym and it was actually a contest. Whoever can keep up the entire time can each win 3 limited edition bags of victory. The marathon was 2 1/2 hours long and if you go out of the studio to drink or whatever, you might lose your place and the chance to win. I was up for the challenge although I wasn't really confident with the way I dance, like ewwww I look like a bouncing marshmallow in there. Haha. But exactly, what the hell was I thinking?! My water bottle ran out of water and I didn't want to stop to drink at the fountain so I was pretty much f*cked up that time because of dehydration. My knees were almost wobbling in fatigue and it was also quite a task to breathe since we only had a few seconds/minutes for a break. I didn't win, of course. Some of the people who were there from the beginning said that one of the winners of the bags actually danced only for the last hour and they felt a bit cheated. I don't give a damn anymore that time because I was tired. But really, what have I gotten myself into? I don't want to do that anymore, dancing for almost 3 hours nonstop. Holy nonstop crap. My last meal was during lunch time that day so I was also starving. Real torment.
I went to Jamaican Pattie to eat a Jahsabe burger. I think it's called like that because it's a Jah-Jah-Jamaican thing plus the sauce is full of pepper and wasabi. Wow just my goshdarned luck, it was so spicy. The wasabi "fume" was up in my nose and I had to remove my glasses because my eyes began to water. I was wishing that I could shoot my drink up my nostrils because it was so hot! I don't think I'll order that next time. I couldn't taste the burger meat very well because of the dressing.
Today is my last day at the gym and I feel sentimental because of the group classes. Technically my membership ends tomorrow but I can't go because I have to go to the province with my family for All Saints' Day. I'll be visiting my mom's tomb. My step mom also said I had to be there for this DAR real estate thing that I am not familiar with. Must be really important. I plan to bring my laptop and handycam for this trip but when I go back to Manila, I might leave them to my family for them to bring it home. I think they'd be staying there for a few more hours. But me, I have to go back soon so I might take a provincial bus, which I have never done in my entire life. I'm just scared to bring back my gadgets with me if I travel like that because I've gotten paranoid since my stuff got stolen before.
For the past few days, I've been bombarded with calls from credit card companies. I'm getting really scared at the amount of cards I now have but my dad said it was fine. I am still not convinced. I just don't like debts, that's all. I mean, who does?!
We're having a garage sale at our, uhm, garage, and I pretty much gathered these books and VCDs I don't like to keep anymore. I hope they get sold so I'll have extra cash. There are lots of things in the garage sale because a tenant of ours ran away from paying the rent and left us with a whole lot of stuff. My step mom went to the unit they rented and just collected everything and brought them home, so our living room looks like a mess with all these toys and weird things in boxes and on the floor. I was even joking to my little niece that she doesn't have to get a gift for Christmas because she just had to pick a toy she likes from the bunch. Of course she didn't like idea! Haha.
Also I wanted to act like an ass a while ago so I wrote this entry. Hi, "CT".
