Faux weekend

quite a disappointing weekend (well it wasn't really the weekend but it felt like it). got loads of things to do at work and i'm not nearly done. if you would like to interrupt and say but you are blogging?, well yes blogging makes me procrastinate but it actually helps me sort things out. i can just write down whatever is bugging me then get moving.

i received word that our college yearbook will be available this year, finally. but i still doubt that it will be released on time. i lost faith to the group of people who were supposed to work on it. it's just tiring to wait for nothing, you know.

i've had problems with innove, our isp at home since april. it was a long process for me to get our internet connection back. they promised that they would adjust our billing but this adjustment isn't reflected on my current bill so we are still not paying. damn fuckers told us they'd cut the connection soon. jesus, innove wasn't like this a year ago. then this certain sporting goods store at the mall wasn't very accommodating and it sucked. it felt like the people over there discriminate customers. it felt like they didn't want to sell their stuff to me. WTF then close shop already, toby's sm north edsa!

tokyo cafe is gooooooood. i love japanese food and i enjoy dining in a japanese restaurant i haven't visited before to check out their food. tokyo cafe doesn't serve authentic japanese food, rather they serve japanese-inspired western food but it's still good!!! after eating there, i saw ice age 3. i did not know simon pegg had anything to do with this movie until the credits rolled. WUT!! it's weird because i did sense the shaun of the dead reference when buck was thinking of possibilities of how broccoli got there in the pond. heeeeeee. the movie was fun. and it was my first time to watch a 3d movie. i forgot to wear my contact lenses so i wore the 3d glasses over my eyeglasses. IT WAS SO 'YO DAWG'.

i don't know what came over me but i decided to go shop for plastic ware at the department store after the movie. it's so matronly of me, haha gross. spent the next day at home doing chores. boring, i know!! like me, i know!!!

before i end this entry, let me just say that I REALLY REALLY HATE ANTS. they're mean creatures. and if there's a mass ant-icide somewhere, i'm so there. they eat everything, i swear. my shirt, my q-tips, the dead, people who are still alive... i don't know what they have against humans in the first place. it's not like we put ants on our bodies on purpose. they're the ones that end up crawling on our skin yet they have the nerve to bite us? that's messed up. it's not like we can fight back by biting them, right? what we can do is brush them off or better yet, pinch them to death because they're puny anyway and we come off as the bad guys because we kill them. O RLY NAO. and this story about the ant and the grasshopper glorifies their breed like crazy, it's some shit i don't want to get into, damn. they're industrious alright but they bite you in the ass! how's that, huh.
