Kim Jung Hwa update: 12/18/08

OK I HAVE NOT DONE THIS FOR A WHILE!! Been busy with the Multiply site I set up for her (so if you have a Multiply account, add that site, will ya??) but if you have not been there, let me post a rundown of what has happened to Junghwa lately.

• She participated in JTS' One Slice of Love campaign which was held in Pizza Hut located in Seoul. This campaign is for the benefit of the children in North Korea.
• Next, she recently had a photo shoot for Elle Korea . It was for their campaign called "Share Happiness" which focuses on impoverished children. Other Korean celebrities have joined the cause as well.
• Her photos for InStyle September issue are already released.
• Junghwa was cast for KBS drama Kingdom of The Wind as Princess LeeJi. Her clothes are very nice to look at and she is pretty with her accessories and all, but she plays a villain in this saegeuk. This is her first time to act in a Korean period drama and so far, I guess she's doing a good job. People hate her character a lot! I think some sympathize with the character even though it's evil because there's a sad person behind the slapping galore. Junghwa's character was also in the news because some moron left a comment on her Cyworld dissing her role and threatening to kill her! Now isn't that wonderful? Junghwa graciously replied to the mean comment with "I will do better." Oh I love her. She's so nice and hardworking!
  
• For the KBS drama awards this year, she was nominated with Song Il Gook for best couple in Kingdom of The Wind. There is also a nomination for the drama Four Colors of Love (Things We Do That We Know We Will Regret), the drama series she was in for Drama City.
• MBC When It's At Night is airing in Japan at the moment and is billed as "Love Treasure" while SBS War of Money was acquired by GMA Network in the Philippines earlier this year and is currently showing at prime time. There is also rumor that GMA has also acquired rights to air KBS Kingdom of The Wind and could possibly be shown in early 2009 due to viewers' demand.
• Kim Jung Hwa's sister, Kim Hyo Jung, was recently in the news too. I am not sure what the news is about but it's probably about her dancing career. If you did not know, Hyo Jung and Jung Hwa are dancers (or can dance) but Jung Hwa focused on her acting and modeling career.

That's about it. Hope people will continue to support Kim Jung Hwa. It's nice to see people leave great comments in Multiply. Aja, Junghwa unni!! Fighting!
