Is it just me or is LeSportsac haunting the streets of Manila?
LeSportsac is this brand of foam pouches and handbags and stuff and they usually come in psychedelic seizure-inducing colors. I see this stuff EVARYWHAR!!
I'm serious. I see these things at the mall, at the MRT, in jeepneys, in my dreams, feck it's EVARYWHAR! They're like the new jelly shoes but you use them with your hands or shoulders!
These jelly shoes used to look alright, but no, vendors were like, "Let's copy these shizz and sell them at la banqueta because we're jellycious like that. Get it? Jelly shoes, delicious? That's coo." (LABO!! Nahilo na yata ako sa kulay ng LeSportsac.) So you can see piles of these glass-oh-snap-they're-just-plastic flats for around 100 pesos or less! I think this is now happening to LeSportsac. I see imitations of this creation in the streets already. I don't know what the hell they call them to avoid trademark violation. LeSpursac? Lacostesac? Ipecac?
It's like... Banana Peel - Crocs - Jelly Shoes - LeSportsac (even if it's not a kind of footwear).
They're probably that affordable for people to buy these and don them just about anyplace in the metropolis. My sister even gave me one (not that I'm saying she's cheap, ok, don't take it out of context!) [AHAHA DEFENSIVE!] and that's when I just became more conscious of this trend. And I was like this close to calling someone out because there was this girl at the MRT carrying a big LeSportsac and the bag kept hitting me or something. It was irritating. Ugh.
can i ask where can i buy original lesportsac in the philippines? my gf
really likes those bags and i want to buy her one as a gift. please send me
an email where i can get one, timothy05james@yahoo.com.ph thanks.
Hi TJ. I actually have no idea where the originals are sold. Knockoffs have
already proliferated the market so I don't even know if people are selling
the real thing at the malls.
