When I got my first pay ever, I bought a cheap MP3 player. It's some Chinese brand and it only has a 256 MB capacity. It's more than 1 year 2 years old already. Anyway, I cleaned it a few days ago and loaded it with some songs. Excuse the cheesiness of my playlist. In alphabetical order:
- 4 Minutes (Madonna feat. Justin Timberlake and Timbaland) - Probably the only song here that is new. You'll see why.
- All I Have To Give (Backstreet Boys) - Holla! It's just one of my favorite BSB songs ever. I remember seeing its music video for the first time and ogling at Nick Carter. What an awful sight.
- Amazing (Westlife) - It isn't my favorite Westlife song but I saw them in concert for free and I enjoyed them perform this. I'm not a big Westlife fan, but going to that concert made me realize that I know a lot of their songs and it's both amusing and scary at the same time.
- Back At One (Brian McKnight) - Can I make it any more obvious?
- Big Yellow Taxi (Counting Crows feat. Vanessa Carlton) - I can do without Vanessa's voice in this song but I just don't have a copy of the band without her so I just settle with this.
- Burnmik (The Boston Post) - Scott Moffatt's band. I like it because it starts with "Just fuck you. And who the fuck are you?" Feisty, eh?
- Do You Really Want Me (Robyn) - Something about Robyn's melisma puzzles me.
- Do You Remember (Aaron Carter) - Blame Popstar.
- Shhh (Donora) - Oh, sorry, I think this is also a 2008 song, I'm not sure though. I heard this song from a PostSecret Valentine's video last February.
- Each Time (E17) - I have only read about East 17 on Smash Hits. I learned they broke up or something then came back as E17 minus one member. I also remember that its music video has a sequel, LOL. Go to Camp Whysasirius!
- Escape (Enrique Iglesias) - I mentioned it here.
- Found A Way (Drake Bell) - I have to admit that I used to watch Drake and Josh on Nickelodeon. Back in 2005, in a Drake and Josh thread in a forum I go to, I wrote that I find Drake a conceited person, and the people there were like, WHY? And I said, "Why the hell would you name your band 'Drake 24/7' if you are not conceited (assuming you are Drake of course)?" Pwned! Then one fan shared that Drake went out with this girl with pink hair and she was on the set of Drake and Josh. Hahahaha so that was Stevie Ryan!
- Got The Feelin' (5ive) - F*ck, I think I still remember the choreography to this.
- Here We Are (Ken Zhu) - Hahahaha F4! Ken is not my favorite member but I think this song is nice.
- How To Touch A Girl (JoJo) - This bitch has one of the best voices out there, srsly.
- I Quit (Hepburn) - LOL this song came up when I was going to work.
- I Think I (Byul) - A song from the Full House OST (it's Korean).
- Isn't It A Wonder (Boyzone) - I am not a big fan of Boyzone but I thought they're such a novelty act and you've just got to appreciate their songs.
- Let Me Be With You (Round Table feat. Nino) - Fine, fine, fine, I used to watch anime. Chobits was one of my favorites.
- Love Me For A Reason (Boyzone) - Copy+Paste: I am not a big fan of Boyzone but I thought they're such a novelty act and you've just got to appreciate their songs.
- Milky Way (BoA) - At one point, I knew a lot about Korean music. I'm not a fan of BoA, but I like this song because it sounds so happy.
- Never Had A Dream Come True (S Club 7) - The Moffatts hate this band!! LOL. But I think this is the best song they've come up with. It's not gimmicky plus I like the fact that they're wearing cute winter outfits in their music video, especially since I've never seen real snow. And this also reminds me of Go The Distance by Michael Bolton, for some strange reason.
- Ni Yao De Ai (Penny Dai) - Ha! Meteor Garden fever.
- Not That Kind of Girl (JoJo) - Copy+Paste: This bitch has one of the best voices out there, srsly.
- One Word (Elliott Yamin) - I rooted for Elliott in American Idol 3 and I love the acoustic version he sang during his tour here in Manila.
- Papaya (Urszula Dudziak) - I plan to remove this because this is driving me nuts. WTF.
- Perfect Day (Hoku) - I just like this because of Legally Blonde. My copy has a low quality so it's kinda faint when it's on.
- Quit Playing Games (With My Heart) (Backstreet Boys) - NICK, ILU!!!
- Realize (Colbie Caillat) - Shiet I'm older than this bitch? WTF. And sorry I forgot that this song is new too.
- Scotty Doesn't Know (Lustra) - "This is definitely where I parked my car!"
- Stop (Spice Girls) - It baffles me why I have it on my MP3 player. Just why?
- Sugar Rush (A Teens) - Another European band that is a joke, but this particular cover interests me. LOL Jesse McCartney.
- That's When I'll Stop Loving You ('N Sync) - I'm thinking of removing this. It's f*cking depressing.
- The Day We Find Love (911) - OMG. The end.
- This I Promise You ('N Sync) - I'll change this too.
- Until The Time Is Through (5ive) - LOL yes.
- UpTown Girl (Westlife) - It just sounds so happy.
- You Don't Know (Hidell) - Clint and Bob Moffatt's band. This is just a demo but I like it. It makes me sad.
- Your Beautiful Soul (Jesse McCartney) - I think Jesse is a douche but this song is catchy.
Not all these songs are my favorite. I listen to my player when I'm traveling and I guess the nostalgia makes me feel less tired, I guess.
