I'm on Google. Eck.
http://mycrappyphonepics.blogspot.com (Something unfortunate happened. Read here: http://skyllo01.livejournal.com/44652.html)
I wanted to try their blog service. You know, feel what it's like to use it now. I was actually registered here before! YES I WAS! It's not my first time. I was in Blogger in 2003 or 2004 (I didn't need to get an account in Google back then to be a Blogger user) but it was too complicated for me that time to fix the templates and all. I felt Blogger wasn't really user-friendly like I thought it would be so I left without even posting a single entry.
Google must have thought I'm spamming because I posted 60 posts today. The captcha appeared when I was posting my 40th or 50th post.
This is my second niche blog, I think. The first one is this: http://kimjeonghwa.multiply.com. Its purpose is to store videos of Kim Jung Hwa, but sometimes when updates about her are too short for me to place them here, I write the blogs over there. Oh, and I post photos there too.
And "My Crappy Phone Pics" isn't my first photography project. My first one is for my friend Yumi. We were just talking in MSN about our own countries (She lives in Thailand.) and I was like, "why don't we share pictures of our own cities???" And she thought it would be a great idea. We vowed not to take tourist-y photos because we didn't want to sugarcoat our cities. I posted my photos first, and I even had videos on YouTube about it. She saw them and she said I was so quick. We got busy though and she was never able to post her own photos. Later on, I decided to delete the photos and videos. The stuff wasn't intended for anybody else but her and since she saw them already, I guess they have served their purpose. It was time to let them go.
I wish to update it at least once a week or so. And the photos will come in batches.
Hope you like it. If not, it's fine. Haha.
A lot of people who use Google are now transferring to wordpress. Don't
know much about the details. Just thought I'd share my obversation with
you.
welcome to google.
nah..
Hi Lester! I noticed the influx of Wordpress users too, probably because of
all those plugins and stuff, but Blogger comes up more in Google search.
I'm predicting that Google will do something soon to compete with
Wordpress.
