You can draw abstract drawings here using pastel colors. The brushes/tool are not the normal ones you see on drawing programs.

Trying to be productive

posted 13 April 2008, Sunday

Wow 2 weeks without blogging here? Geez I'm getting worse!

I've been busy/tryingtobebusy these past few days.

First, my Internet addiction is getting worse. I don't really go everywhere on the freaking Internet but I spend tons of time on certain websites and searching for stuff when I feel like it. It doesn't even help that we got wi-fi access at home now. Argh. I know wi-fi is cool, but in my case, I think my Internet use is getting out of hand. >_< I'm working on it though.

I'm trying to finish reading a book I found on sale. I'm a fan of the show "Blind Date." There were reruns on cable and I used to be able to catch them when I was unemployed *shudder*. Recently my friend and I went to this book store and I saw a copy of a book named after the show. Actually it's some sort of media tie-in or something. It's supposed to be a dating guide and the tips are based on the dates that were aired (or not aired due to censorship. Oooohh) on the show. It's so cheap!! It was around P15. I also bought these 2 books for the lulz. At another book sale, I found a Kenan and Kel book ("AWW HERE IT GOES!") and even if I prefer to watch the TV show instead, I still found the book quite interesting. Kel Kimble is really a funny character, I have to say. I think I even had a little crush on Kel Mitchell because of his comedic timing. The other book is just  a quiz book about 90s to early 2000 teen shows. I bought it because it had Lindsay Felton on the cover. LINDSAY SUPERBOOBS FELTON! Well it was full of lulz because I just found out about her on MySpace . I really didn't know she's an actress. I've never even watched Caitlin's Way. So there you go. Seeing her on a freaking book made me smile. I don't know why. OK to be honest, my book "shopping" is also getting worse. I still have a lot of books to finish but I keep buying new ones. I WILL READ YOU ALL, BOOKS. MARK MY WORDS. I also have the 7th book of Harry Potter on PDF but I have only read the epilogue! HAHA!

I've watched some movies in my spare time a.k.a. before I go to sleep. One was Over Her Dead Body which is disappointing (I have to make an exception for this one because I saw this at the cinema). I have to say that Eva Longoria Parker is a bad actress. I thought she wasn't convincing enough. Sure she made me a laugh a bit at some scenes, but seriously? That scene where there was exorcism going on and she was turning into pixie dust or something? OH COME ON. POOR POOR POOR POOR POOR ACTING. Knocked Up starring Katherine Heigl was great though. I actually cried when her character gave birth. It was a touching scene. I actually got more touched by this movie than by Juno which is overrated, like damn overrated that it got nominations. LIKE SUPERBAD. Why do you guys like it? Geez. I also saw the nth installment of American Pie, that Beta House thing. It's pretty pointless. Naked Mile was better because of Erik Stifler's story. (HOLY SHIT speaking of which, I had a dream about Jake Siegel a few nights ago. What the hell. I won't go into details anymore because it'll be too much information. ZOMGZ11111)

Yay I'll be getting a new passport soon. It's under processing now. I'm just waiting for it to arrive via courier. YES YES YES I'm getting my life back. Losing my documents drained me so much, like I became nobody because I lost my identification cards. Losing my cellphone was a huge blow too. I'm glad though that I am picking up the pieces even if it seems quite slow. Next time I'll request for my transcript of records from school and also get my TIN ID. And gaaaaah, learn how to drive perhaps? I can't drive yet.. Well I once was able to drive our family car but THAT WAS SO LONG AGO. I've forgotten how to do it by now. Ech, I've applied for 3 student permits already but I barely use them. Egads.

I've picked up drawing once again. Yesterday I even bought art supplies, oh boy. This kind of excites me inside, I don't know why. I know I suck in drawing now because of years with no practice, but this is just for fun anyway. Nothing really serious.

I hope by the time I post a new entry here, I would have finished making a video. And I would have transfered my videos from my video camera to the computer. Like, god, I have some footage of Kyla last January. FLIPPIN JANUARY! Even the Chinese New Year footage I took is still in the tape and my friend is nagging me about it. Haha.

A trainor at the gym told me that I have to run 5KM a day plus other exercises. I tried it last time. Feck, that was hard!! I don't think I can do it EVERY SINGLE DAY GOD MADE because of my schedule. I mean, I'm the kind of person who doesn't trust washing machines anymore. I HAND WASH!! 5KM run + hand washing = DEATH.
