i wrote this on thursday:
today i went with my dad to the bank to inquire about car loans. then we went to the car dealer to check out the cars. we inspected a toyota vios and it was bright red, actually "cosmo red", which is reallllly bright. my type of red. :D the metallic beige was cool too. it looks like champagne. we ate at a pares house afterwards which i enjoyed not just because i was with my dad but also because i enjoy eating at a pares house. mmmm. no really, id rather eat here than in a fancy restaurant. and we brought some freshly baked bread too!
we then went to the grocery store to buy foodstuff and we got a bit overboard with my dad's credit card, ugh. thank goodness that my card limit was increased recently because i've had it for around half a year already. one of the reasons we went overboard with our budget is because i saw this study table on sale. it was just right for my space and i miss having a table in my room. i usually work on my bed and i end up sleeping with all the clutter on it! ive also wanted an office chair in my room. luckily an office armchair was on sale too. since we can bring home lots of stuff because we got there by car unlike if we're on commute, my father said we should buy them already. i was thinking twice about buying the table and chair because it might be impulse buying, but i mean, it's useful furniture, you know. so debate after debate with my own self, we did buy it and went home.
i built the study table with a help of a neighbor later in the evening. i knew i couldn't do it alone because it takes me a long time to assemble stuff like that. (i had experience assembling our computer table, but my sister helped me) it was challenging because it was like building a grown-up wooden puzzle. there were clues a.k.a. holes and we had to figure out which screw fits where and if the panel is facing the right side or not. we only had a screwdriver available but not a hammer so i had to use a makeshift one to hammer down some nails. hehe i'm using the table right now as im typing this entry!
i still have many things to do!!! wish me luck. :P
